Alfa 3g Pilot Test In Lebanon

Hello everyone, i've been accepted in 3g test from alfa, ill be posting informations gathering from my tests.

Till now the 3g is not working only 2g dunno why, but i'll see what i can do.

They will give you the 3g sim card, you may also recharge your card with a prepaid card to make voice calls, sms,mms.

Edit: Just called alfa, it will take some time before the 3g signal will be activated.

yalla, lets hope good results comes out from this. We've been waiting to get these new connections for a long time.

it seems my htc hd2 doesnt work on hspa (alfa new 3g connection) i tried to switch my band to wcdma and umts and tweaking everything, no 3g signal, tried it on my brothers phone e72 and 3.5g signal appeared my phone is useless on alfa 3g network, i will try to buy a 3g usb dongle tomorrow.

maybe you should wait till end of month & start of next month .

Yes MTC also has 3G pilot testers they called my brother before for testing the 3g and hes very happy about it but the weird thing his 3G is compatible with my HTC HD2 while the Alfa 3G is not.. Only worked on the nokia, once i change my phone number in future i will most certainly switch to MTC.
