    hey,
    i'm new to xbox and i need to know how can i play xbox online games in lebanon
    please tell me the exact steps

    Hello nizar, and welcome to our forums.

    To answer your question, here are the steps:
    - First you need an unbanned xbox 360.
    - Second you need an xbox account to login to live.
    - Third either an original disk/game payed for 50$ or so.
    Or you have the latest firmware installed(3.0) this method is not safe but it needs an experienced guy on how to keep up-to-date or you will get banned eventually.
    - Fourth you need to buy a premium subscription to play live games.
    - Fifth you need to update to latest dashboard software released by microsoft.

    And finally the most important step is that you need to get a good connection for best latency either from ogero or other isps which i dont recommand other than ogero but you can try and test.

    i already have an xbox account, but i'm having a problem in upgrading to the gold membership witch is the fourth step that u said. when i try to upgrade my account from free to gold (for 1 month) they ask me to put a post code and the name of my country knowing that lebanon isn't present between the countries in the list :s
    just explain me how can i buy the premium subscription.

    Well first you need a credit card, assuming you have one it doesnt matter which country you pick, try usa.

    Second option is buy the premium card either from amazon, or ebay for best saving, but still you need to have a credit card.

    i dont know if pcandparts.com has xbx live cards try and ask them.

    sure i have a credit card, i tried usa but there's also the post code :s
    i cannot continue to the payment step without putting it :oops:

    i heard that we can found that card in virgin megastore :eek: is it right?

    well i dont know if virgin has premium cards, try to call them.

    Use any postal code but should be legit, try 00961 or 1000 it might work.
