ok guys, do this only for overheating GPUs. Do it at your own risk.

After following the guides above, I decided to do this with my own GTX275 card.

1 - Unscrew the VGA from behind :p

2 - Remove the Plastic Cover & be careful when remove it since the VGA Fan is still attached.

3 - Remove thermal Paste & apply new one.

    4 - Don't forget to Remove the Dust !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    5 - Re-screw the Heat-sink to the VGA

5 - Apply the normal case fans

    Fan 1

    Fan 2

    Fan 3

6 - Attach them anyway you can/want, I used card box tape to attach them as fast as I can, I can change them later on.

    7 - Results.

    When idle
At Stock Fan, my VGA temp was 50~55 degrees
After the Normal Fans, it dropped to 40~45 degrees

During Heavy Games such as Crysis 2 & Metro 2033
At stock Fan, the VGA heat would reach 80~96 degrees. ( at this stage you can hear the fan Spinning at 100%)
With the Normal Fans applied, the VGA would reach 70~78 degrees.

    Overclocking
    At Stock Fan
VGA Core from 633 to 650
Memory clock from 1134 to 1200
Shader clock from 1404 to 1450
any more clocking to the rates above would make a driver crash from overheating even with the fan at 100%

using Normal Fans I was able to oc the VGA even higher
VGA Core from 633 to 720 (70 clocks more)
Memory clock from 1134 to 1280 (80 clocks more)
Shader clock from 1404 to 1570 (120 clocks more)
any more clocking to the rates above would also make a driver crash from overheating even with the 3 fans, & there is no speed to apply, since they are running at default (the fastest speed possible).

** Check your retailer if you can Overclock your card.

    Pros:
    Less GPU heating
    More OC'ing
No need to keep cleaning them.

    Cons:
    Slight noise issue.
a lot of heat will be generating from the case, you need to have a good cooling airway path,
It might breaks your warranty. (I had mine for 2 yrs I think, I don't mind breaking it :p) Check your card's retailer.

I did this out of fun.
Now I've attached the Stock fan back without the plastic cover & removed the 3rd fan & applied it to the VGA's behind. & I got better results !!!!

I've also tested this with an ATi Card Sapphire 5770, & got better results. I've also tested it with a GTX460.

Dude nice tutorial, i believe we should start upgrading all of our fans into liquid cooling that way no more noisy fans and better temp results
